This was used in my AP Government class.  It could be used in on-level with some differentiation.  This is an example of performance based instruction.

In this World Georgrapy lesson, students will be creating a presentation drawing on real world experiences as a vacationer in Europe, North America, or South America.

Attached are several activities that I do with my class that are examples of performance based instruction and differentiation.

Georgraphy Fair is an excellent two day activity.  Class is buzzing as half of the class sets up booths and presents to 2 or 3 students at a time; then those students move to the next display.  The students present about 5 or 6 times to small groups.  The following day roles are switched.  It is a great way for everyone to present in 2 days instead of taking 4 or 5 days to listen to students stand up before the class.  Kids love this format...teachers just have to realize it will be hectic and busy...but fun.
